I offer repairs, servicing and modifications for guitar amplifiers. Predominatly valve-based amplifiers, solid-state amps (ones which don’t use valves) are usually much more irritating to repair. It can be much harder to find faults and repairs can often cost more than the amp! That being said I’ve had plenty and always happy to look at them, if I can’t help then I’ll let you know!

Pricing

Bench fee - £40 (covers inspection, report and very basic repairs), you always pay this even if the amp isn’t repairable

Labour - £20/hr, I’ll be in touch if I think there’s a lot of work to do.

Parts - All parts are covered by you following discussion, we’ll chat regularly

Shipping - I’m often driving around Morecambe Bay so I can sometimes pick up the item. Usually customers drop off the amp themselves. Shipping is usually expensive but certainly an option and is charged to the customer.
