1975 Fender PA100

Fender made a PA amp, who knew?!

Many early guitar amp manufacturers made PA amps, including Fender and Marshall. The world was simpler then, you just needed to make things louder, none of this complex stereo nonsense!

This is an absolute whopper of an amp, 112W output in 8 ohms, original RCA 6L6GC output valves, spring reverb tank (which can only be applied to the whole output rather than individual channels) and quite a lot of hum.

It has had a hard life and needed some TLC, a new pre amp valve and new filter caps. After some frustration with an oscillating tube it ended up in good nick, the customer has the matching speaker cabs and is hoping to use it as his home hifi amp! Awesome.
