Marshall 30th Anniversary

This very early 30th Anniversary model was brought by a guy who owns two of them. Turns out he had an issue with both of them early on and went back to Marshall only to meet Jim Marshall and ended up heading out to lunch with him, very jealous!

It needed a lot of love and suffered from a known issue of an oscillation associated with the first valve in the pre-amp. After a good service and several hours of fiddling it was eventually sorted!

In the end it was loud and heavy as a Marshall should be and sounded great.
